GC Accelerator Use

Installation

1. Turn off the oven 離風and wait until the oven, inlet匠線s, detectors, and MS transfer l一公ine have cooled.

  2. Ensure the column and t草用he column hanger ar黃中e in the back positi們那on in the oven

  3. If no detector is 廠事in the front position, 雜學install the two block i雪術nserts in front of the colu街從mn as shown in Figure 著從2. If there is a detector 得拿in the front position, install the two 照他block inserts in front of the column as女舊 shown in Figure 3.

Caution: The block i媽森nserts should no司技t touch the analytical 音老column or the M笑習SD source nut (Figure 4).

4. Install the plate insert 那弟in the front of the oven so高鐵 that the front is flush with 高近the edge of the 舞舞oven (Figure 5).

Removal

Turn off the oven and wai唱裡t until all oven, inlets, d花綠etectors, and MS transfer line surfa開車ces have cooled.

Caution: To avo費她id burns, use the strap to remove 花知the plate insert or wear heat-res務器istant gloves. The metal fasteners and木些 label tag on the plate insert may 行學still be hot ev坐裡en after the GC oven has co煙飛oled down.

1. Grip the strap on the plate insert and 兒火remove it by pulling the bottom器機 edge out first (Figure 6).大火
